SUKIYA in Malaysia

Finally SUKIYA steps foot in Malaysia.

For those who has never heard of this before

It's a japanese fast food chain restaurant which can be found in every bitsy corner in Japan.

So, what type of food they sell in there?

There's GYUDON (Beef Rice), Curry Rice and some japanese side dishes like Chikin Karaage (Fried Chicken) etc. but mainly rice stuff.

Here's what I had for supper in SUKIYA yesterday.
Top ~ Fried Chicken
Top Right ~ Miso Soup

When I was in Japan, I go there often for Gyudon cos it's cheap and nice!!yumzz

If you're under a budget trip to Japan, I recommend you going to fast food chain restaurants like SUKIYA, YOSHINOYA, MATSUYA and my favourite out of all this, CHIKARA MESHI!!(You so gotta try their "yakigyudon" which is grilled beef rice!! (slurpsss)

So, talking about SUKIYA in Malaysia

The one I went to was in Sunway Giza.

Here's the interior of the shop.
Pretty much different from those in Japan, I would say.

If you've been to the one in Japan before, I think you know what I mean.

In Japan, there are bar counters and they hardly have tables and chairs like that in order to save place.

Also, people usually EAT & GO, you know like TOUCH & GO! ^^

and

Families don't usually bring kids there for dinner.

Most people who enter the shop are either singles or working men.

You can hardly see women in there too.

That's why I find it very difficult to enter these type of fast food chain restaurants unless there's another person who wanna tag along.

But, sometimes when I'm too desperate or am craving for beef rice, I would't care much and will enter alone, sitting with all the working men there.

I get stares from others but I wouldn't care much anymore. (LOL)

It's part of the whole experience while studying abroad!

Love Tokyo Fashion

Harlow peepz!

I finally got to check out the Love Tokyo Fashion Pop-up Store in ISETAN KLCC.

The Good & Bad News is..

I did not buy anything. (LOL)

There are brands like Moussy, Sly, Nice Claup, Majestic Legon.. whatelse?!

Hrm.. Brands that I usually wear are Nice Claup & Majestic Legon..

but..

I didn't manage to find any nice items that I like.

Still, got to meet up with these two lovely girls.

This is the shot of the day!(hahaha)
Pink Flora One-piece & Belt ~ Dazzlin
Earrings ~ cannot remember the brand (It was a X'mas Present)

and..

This is the Slapshot of the day!

and before I end this post, I would like to wish everyone

Happy New Year!
Have a great year ahead!

あけましておめでとうございます。
良い年になりますように!

Post Christmas Party

G'day everyone!

Another post on outfit.

Had a Post Christmas Party or so called Gathering last night at a friend's place.

Decided to wear something that has Christmas color..

So I took off with this RED Polka Skirt..
This skirt reminds me of Autumn in Japan as this was my fav item during the Autumn season last year.

The full coordinate looks something like this..
White Blouse ~ Olive des Olive
Polka Dot Skirt & Belt ~ Ingni
Cardigan ~ Bershka
Heels ~ Esprenza
*All items are from Jp except the cardigan

This slapshot is without the cardigan and hair looks slightly different.

Now, this is before steppin' out!
Gotta show ya some poker face!:)

Yesterday's party/gathering was pretty awesome as I haven't been attending party like this for some time already.

Thumbs up!

Christmas @ Winter Warmers

I know it's a lil late but I would still like to wish everyone

MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's better late than never, right?!:)

So how did your Christmas went?

Thank God the world did not come to an end and we got to celebrate X'mas, is that what comes in mind? Maybe not huh!! Whatever it is, I don't really give a damn about that whole doomsday thingy.

All I care is Food.. Food... and Food...

Did I ever tell you that I'm actually a glutton?

All I have in my mind for the whole day minus the sleeping time which means for the 16hours, all I think is what to eat NOW?, for TODAY, NEXT, and THEN..

Ooopsiee, am I tellin' ya too much? (バレちゃった)
Sowwie, gonna cut the crap now and get to the point.

So, I found this one very interesting coffee & tea house which is in Queensbay Mall, Penang.

I love the setting of this tea house (or coffee house) and it's a nice place for girls outing or/and also for a date. I think this is the place you should go on Christmas cos it just simply gives you the warm feeling you need on Christmas!(LOL)

I had this Herbal Chamomile Tea which is said to help reduce tension and also for those who suffers insomnia.
I like how they use those vintage teacups to serve us tea.

Tea for TWO

Oh Yeah! You gotta try their Lavender Cheesecake!!

I wouldn't say it's the best cheesecake but I would give them credit for coming up with this special flavor. They even have Rose Cheesecake. Haven't get to try that but if you did, probably you can tell me how it taste like.
and FYI, I'm a Cheesecake Lover!!

I don't mind eating Cheesecake everyday as my main meal. (LOL)

Skirt ~ Majestic Legon (Japan)
*This brand is available for a certain period in ISETAN KLCC now, if I'm not wrong. I think it's located together with the FORUCHIZU brand. I haven't go check it out cos no time! Plus, I heard it'll be until 3rd of Jan only!*criessss
I need to find a day to go check out their stuff.

Pink heels with ribbon ~ REZOY (Japan)

Curled only the tip of the hair and bringing it back behind my ears.
I hardly put my hair behind my ears but I stuck it back the whole day eh!!
Got improvement d!!haha

Look of the Day

Never seen before LOOK!!

Well, my style is always the sweet-girly-type but today I finally decided to go for the mature-style.

To be honest, I feel kinda weird.

I don't think I really suit the mature-style.

I think probably because without fringe, it makes me look very mature.

White Top ~ Miss Selfridge
Mint Pants ~ Zara
Stiletto ~ Randa (from Japan)

Here's a closer look of my fav pair of stiletto.
I guess this is one of the most expensive pair I own for now..heehee

This pair is also love at first sight!

The moment I saw it, I know I will have to take it home with me..teehee

Without making it too plain, I've put on my LOVE item which is this beige knitted cardigan from Zara.
Please excuse me for the weird background.

and finally...

A slapshot before stepping out!!:)

I still think I need to stick back to my usual style though I love trying different styles at times.

So that's all about my LOTD!

Rilakkuma Bento ~リラックマ弁

Hello everyone!

Christmas is around the corner and I'm sure everyone is busy with the preparations..

I love this festive season the most cos it gives me this very warm feeling which me myself don't even know why... LOL

So, I guess around this time everyone is rushing here and there looking for presents.

I know some of you might be attending some X'mas parties too.

Well, to cut short..

What I actually wanna suggest here is that you can probably make a character bento set as a gift or even make it to bring to parties (potluck).

As you can see, the 2 below is made for a friend as a gift for her birthday.

It's really simple, trust me!

What you need here is patience, that's all!

I made two sets since there was 5 of us and each of us had one Rilakkuma!!

It was actually my first challenge and there wasn't any practice beforehand.

See!! Now, you can trust me for what I've said which is "It's very simple!!".

Even a lousy cook can do that!!haha

The ingredients used is the same as my previous Omelette Rice recipe which can be found here.

After cooking them, shape them up into the shape of that cute Rilakkuma and decorate them in any ways you like.

For the decorations, I actually use mini tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce and also tamagoyaki.

So, what are you waiting for? Go try it out!!:)

My Little Stuff

Currently am using this really cute iPhone case which I bought online.

It's made in Korea and I love the texture of this case.

Oh well! The little stuff that I'm supposed to mention is that cute handmade bulldog charm which is from Che Che.

I heard that Che Che boutique in Midvalley has closed down and I'm not too sure where in Malaysia that you'll be able to get their stuff now.

The things they sell in their boutique are extremely cute but kinda expensive, especially those small bitsy items like coin pouch, charms and etc.

Partly also because most/all of the charms are handmade and their workmanship is really fine!

What a waste that their boutique has closed down now. ><

Regretted not getting more of their goodies...

I remember they've got Hello Kitty collections too from bags to charms and it's super duper cute!!

I wanted to say go check them out but then I realized the boutique has closed down!~LOL

Well, that's all on this post.

and

Oh Yeah! If you're wondering where I got that cute mickey/minnie earpool or earplug or whatever you call them... It's from Japan's Disney Store!:)

That's all about my little stuff.

Till then!:)

LOTD

Look of the Day

One Piece Checkered ~ Rose Fan Fan (Shibuya 109)

Got this sweet pastel dress from Shibuya 109 during their Bargain Sales in Summer 2012.

If I'm not wrong it costs only 1990yen!:)

I would recommend you to go there the last few days of the bargain sales as they will mark down the price and you'll have like up to 80 - 90% discounts.

So don't miss out Shibuya 109 Bargain Sales which only held twice a year, in January and July!!

Till then..

A Different Sight

Have you seen me with my hair tied up?

I think after I left high school, I hardly tie my hair up.

Maybe because I'm sick of tying my hair since we are forced to tie our hair up (this applies in schools in M'sia tho) during school days and if you don't do so, you'll be penalized for that.

So, since I was a freshman in university and up till now (about 4 years now), I guess I only tied my hair for like not more than 10 times?!..

And here are some of the shots I took with my hair up.

How different do I look here?!
Somewhere around September this year.
Was getting ready to attend a family dinner.

Both of this slapshot was taken today.
Am ready for some Japanese cuisine:)

Another reason that I don't really like tying my hair up is because I think that I have a huge puffy face.

I always try to cover my puffy face with my hair down but from what I learnt from some hair experts, it is said that your face will look bigger if you let them down instead of tying them up.

At some point, I think it's quite true.

Still, I prefer letting my hair down for some reasons. haha

Christmas Nails with Gelish

Here's my nails for X'mas..

I wanted to do French nails but because my nails are not long enough,

therefore I came up with this design for this X'mas!

Here's an up-close shot of my nail design.

Color used is Sea Foam from Gelish.

We'll see how long it'll last this time.

FYI, this is gel nails.

Will come up with more nail designs in future.

Stay tune:)

Today's make looks like this

Fake eyelashes that I used is this brand called DUP - MODEL's SELECTION (Aiku Maikawa)

So that's all about today's coordinate.

Haircut at Number76

Today's Fashion Coordinate

White Lace Dress & Belt ~ Dazzlin Moi
Bag ~ Samantha Vega

After months, decided to go back to Number76 salon for haircut.
This time I went to the one in Mont Kiara.
Used to go to the one in MidValley Northpoint but because Hikky got transfered,  so gotta go all the way there to look for her since me and mum prefer her cutting.
Have been going to number76 for haircut since 4 or 5 years ago before they became this popular.
I know just recently, their salon is known by many cos of their involvement in VIVI magz.

This is before haircut. Looks messy!!
Picture taken under natural light~wuahaha

and...
....
....

This is after haircut. Looks neater isn't it!
I know the quality of this pic is very shitty and please excuse me for that!
In this pic, you might think I've changed my hair color but nop..
It's the lighting that makes my hair looks darker.
But I plan to color my hair soon. Not sure whether I should change to brighter color or what but of so many hair color I've tried I still prefer this the best.

Birthday Gift from ♥s ~ iPod Touch 5g & iPhone Case

Finally got my belated birthday gift from ♥

It's the latest iPod Touch 5g that is not available in stores in Malaysia yet.

I love the color. It's nicer than I thought actually.
Cos at first I thought the pink doesn't look very pink.
From pictures, it looks a little peachy but it's not close to peach either.
It's more to the pink + red + peach = ?!
Anyways, I would say it's a very unique color.

Plus, what makes it so nice is the custom-made wallpaper by the PIXY aka ♥. LOL
Yay! Never expect to receive such a present that comes in a package from inside out.

and next up...

It's another lovely gift that I got from two ♥s.

A customized iPhone Bling Bling case with mai name!!!

Yeshh! Never mention before but I love stuff like this with my name on..ehehe

The case is so pretty that I can't help myself from staring at it every minute.

Now, I will have another item to add into my iPhone case collection!!Yeehaa:)

So, that wraps up my birthday gift for 2012.

Autumn Nails 「秋のネイル」

Nail of the week ~ "Autumn Nails"

I painted roses on gel nails.

Add rhinestones on french nails.

It took me about 3 hours to complete both hands. (I know I'm a slow poke)

I'm planning to get better gel colors.

Any recommendations?

I'm looking for pastel color gel colors at reasonable price.

I know Japan's gel colors are really sweet but I can't get them here. >_<

I regretted not getting them when I had a chance back then.

Total Regret!!!>>>_<<<<

It's October and this is only the first post of the month.

Been really busy with school lately with all the assignments, presentations and weekly tests.

It's really killin'!><

I just need a break now!

I haven't even blog about my Birthday which was like last week.

Exactly one week from today.

Anyways, here's an update of myself and my nails.

Any difference on the fringe?

Purikura for iPhone

Let's create purikura with iPhone!

Since we can hardly find purikura booth in Malaysia (OK, maybe not that hard but still not everywhere right?!), why not create on your own using this cool app for iPhone!

It's free and you can take it anywhere and anytime you want without having to worry that you do not have the time to decorate it, if you know what I mean. (I always freak out when the time goes ticking away and end up having ugly decorations or incomplete ones)

Here are the things I'll highlight to you which I usually pick for decorating my pictures.

#Step 1 Choosing background.

It's very important to have a nice background for purikura.

Lovely pastel backgrounds to choose from~

#Step 2 Stamping

To bring out the KAWAII-ness of the picture, you need these cute stamps!

#Step 3 Choose Borders

Borders to cover the sides of your pictures.

In this app, they called it "Wantacchi" which means One Touch!lol

#Step 4 Add accessories

Fake lashes or colored contact lenses to create big eyes and also speckie!

and..

TADA~
Here's my creation with this wonderful app called "Deco Pic" by Community Factory Inc.

Download this app here.

Life at Keio University

It has been a year now.

It was last year around this time, I went to Japan for a year under MEXT scholarship.

It has always been my dream to study in Japan since I was like 17?!

..and after all the shitty things that happened, hardship and passion, I finally made it, having dreams to come true.

Although I've been to Japan like a number of times for home-stay programs, exchange programs and holidays but this is my longest stay in Japan.

To those out there who are still striving for your dreams, I would like to cheer on you and just keep in mind that as long as you have the passion and faith, your dream that you've been chasing after will come true someday.

Don't give up even it's hard cos if it's an easy thing, why would we even wanna call it a dream, isn't it?!

Well then, let's start on with my life at Keio University.

A preserved building since the Meiji period in Mita campus.
There are many visitors who visit this campus to take photographs of this Meiji period building and also school children and adults who sit under these tall trees to draw. I call them painters cos they all look like one to me. You know why? Coz I went peeking at their drawing blocks and they're really good. Hrm, maybe becos I can't paint or draw well! Totally fail!

Next up is this stairs where I used to climb everyday to class. I'm already missing this stairs.
I'm already missing this stairs. I still remember when I first came to this campus and at that time I was still not use to climbing stairs cos we don't walk and climb that much back here in Malaysia cos most of the time we drive right! Then, you know what actually happened? I know it's very sia sui to say this but I'll still tell you since there's nothing to hide. You know what, I used to pant when I reach the top.~haha
Ok, that was like maybe 2 months or less than that. Cos months later, I got used to it and in fact, I'm loving it cos it's a very good exercise. No need to go on diet, can eat and lose weight at the same time!!lol

This building, so called the South School Building which is also a new building in Mita Campus, from what I heard. This is where most of my classes are held and on the 7th floor of this building where the lounge is and I'm tellin' you, it's amazing cos you'll be able to see the Tokyo Tower right in front of you without any obstacles. Great night spot for CC(campus couples)!haha

They've got a cafeteria in this building too which I've never been to cos according to most of them, food are slightly more expensive and doesn't taste as good as the underground cafeteria.

Next, this is one of the classes in the South School Building.

So practically, I walk from Mita Station to campus on foot everyday which takes about 7-10 minutes.
I used to hate walking but after having to walk in Japan for a year, I actually find out that I love walking more than driving cos it helps to burn calories!lol
So I don't have to go on diet and I can just simply eat my favourite food and still not put on weight at the same time. Besides, walking is good for health k!

Alright then, that's all on life at Keio!
